Dada J. P. Vaswani informs us that God has no body, and therefore is invisible. But men of contemplation can discern Him with their heart and understanding. Unfortunately a defiled heart cannot see God. One must be pure if one wishes to enjoy the vision of the Pure Being. Hence, blessed are the pure in heart – that is, pure in mind, motive and principle; who seek purity not only in external actions, but who desire to be holy in their hearts. Man judges on the basis of outward appearances, but God looks at the heart.
